Your team:

As part of the OX Ionos App Suite team, you’ll help build and maintain the core platform behind our customer-facing products. From developing new features to managing deployments, you’ll ensure a smooth, secure, and reliable experience for our users. Working closely with other teams, you’ll keep our platform stable and up to the highest quality standards.

 

Your new job:

  • Have the opportunity to write new scalable microservices whenever possible.
  • Design APIs that are efficient and user-friendly.
  • Create and manage systems using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and improving our existing CI/CD pipeline and image builds.
  • Create comprehensive documentation to support your work and assist other team members.
  • Adhere to the principle of "You build it, you run it", taking full ownership of the projects you work on.

This is the tech stack you'll be working with: 

  • Programming languages and frameworks: Java, Spring Boot
  • Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI, Jenkins
  • Build tools: Gradle
  • Databases: MariaDB/MySQL, Redis
  • Knowledge in Javascript and at least one JavaScript Framework (e.g. angular)

 

Your background:

  • You are motivated and passionate about the tech stack mentioned above.
  • You can effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing across all levels.
  • You are a team player and you love to share your knowledge and learn from others.
  • You would like to work in an environment without a formal hierarchy and are ready to take ownership for your work.
  • You are motivated and creative, with a passion for connecting the world through Open Source technology and promoting digital sovereignty.
