Team info:

You will be part of our Support team. Together with your team members you'll analyze and fix complex customer issues of both OX Cloud and Open-Xchange's on-premise customers. You are in close contact with our Operations and the different Development teams.


Our tech stack:

  • Different Linux distributions
  • Typical Open Source Services like Postfix, Apache, MariaDB, MySQL, Cassandra
  • Common protocols HTTP, SMTP, IMAP
  • Different configuration and deployment tools, e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes


Your new job:

  • You are responsible for the Incident and Problem Management for customers' and OX’s services.
  • You manage system diagnostics and analysis of „million user“ environments to create a good feel for our customers.
  • You help to investigate and reproduce complex customer issues, test solutions and the implementation of fixes. 
  • You are the single point of contact for Open-Xchange customers. 
  • You manage the communication between customers and Open-Xchange and act as interface to the different development teams. 
  • You contribute to process improvements. 


Your background:

  • You are proficient and experienced in system management or administration. 
  • You are highly skilled in analysing technical issue in heterogeneous IT service environments.
  • You can effectively communicate in English and German verbally and in writing across all levels in a company.
  • You are a team player and you love to share your knowledge and learn from others.
  • You are motivated and creative and want to connect the world through Open Source technology.
  • You have a strong background in typical Open Source Software technologies as mentioned in our "tech stack". 
  • You have several years of experience with one or more Linux distributions.
