Your team:
At Open-Xchange, you'll work in a decentralized, remote-first organization that provides communication and email infrastructure for millions of people worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with development, cloud operations, and IT architecture to embed information security as a core part of our products and processes. You'll be responsible for implementing technical and organizational security requirements, evolving our security strategy and ISMS, and advising management on all relevant matters. In this way, you'll ensure that security at OX is not just maintained, but actively considered and applied across all areas.
Your new job:
- You'll take ownership of planning and implementing technical and organizational security requirements across the OX Group.
- You'll advise and inform management regularly on all information security matters and produce transparent reports.
- You'll continuously develop our information security strategy and management system.
- You'll conduct risk assessments, monitor market trends, and implement appropriate measures as part of risk management.
- You'll develop and review requirements for our technical product development, system architecture, and the secure operation of our cloud services.
- You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, customers, and external auditors, following ISO 27001 standards.
Your background:
- You have a degree in (business) computer science, IT security, or a related field.
- You bring several years of professional experience in information security, IT risk management, or IT compliance.
- You have hands-on experience building, implementing, and certifying an Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to ISO 27001, and ideally some knowledge of IT-Grundschutz.
- You have an excellent understanding of IT architectures, cloud technologies, and technical security measures.
- You work in a structured and analytical way and have a strong awareness of risks and security priorities.
- You communicate clearly, convey your expertise convincingly, and can explain complex topics in an understandable way, including to management.
- You can effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing across all levels.
- You are a team player and you love to share your knowledge and learn from others.
- You would like to work in an environment without a formal hierarchy and are ready to take ownership for your work.
